In Cluster Finder, you can enter a single keyword to explore how it connects to related searches.
You can also define:
Search Direction — whether you want to see keywords before, after, or around your input keyword.
Search Depth — how many steps (1–3) of connections you want to include
Search Direction
Mode | Description | Example |
|---|---|---|
After Search | Collects keywords searched after your target keyword. | Input Keyword → Subsequent Searches |
Before Search | Collects keywords searched before your target keyword. | Previous Searches → Input Keyword |
Bidirectional Search | Collects both before and after keywords around your input keyword. | Previous Searches → Input Keyword → Subsequent Searches |
Example: If you set the position to Bidirectional Search, Cluster Finder gathers both the keywords that users searched before and after your input keyword.
Search Depth
You can select how many levels of related keywords to include — from 1 to 3 steps.
Example: If the depth is set to 2, the network will include:
Two keywords before → One before → Input keyword → One after → Two after
This helps balance detail vs. scope — ideal for mapping user journeys or uncovering long-tail search chains.
