You can check the search volume forecast for a keyword over the next 3 months.

It can be accessed via the SV Forecast (Search Volume Forecast) button located to the right of My Keywords on the Query Finder search results screen.

*Available on Basic plan or higher

Search Volume Forecast predicts search volume for the next 3 months starting from the most recent month, based on historical data. It helps you identify seasonality and determine the right timing for decision-making.

Forecast Targets

  • Search volume

    • Based on search volume over the most recent month through the past 48 months

    • US,JP: Google search volume

    • KR: Combined Google + Naver search volume

  • Keywords

    • Select items from the related keyword list (up to 10 maximum)

    • If no keywords are selected, the top 10 keywords based on the current page's sort order will be selected automatically.

Chart

  • Actual search volume is shown as a solid line, and forecast search volume is shown as a dotted line.

  • Click a legend chip to view only that keyword on its own; uncheck the checkbox to hide it from the graph.

Table

  • Keyword, most recent month's search volume (M), forecast search volume for the next 3 months (M+1 · M+2 · M+3)

Forecast search volume

This value predicts future trends by analyzing search volume patterns over the past 4 years (48 months) using time-series predictive AI.



  • When data is limited, such as with newly emerging keywords, the forecast is supplemented by analyzing trend patterns from similar keyword groups.

  • Because the data update timing differs for each keyword, keywords without data for the most recent month begin their forecast from the immediately preceding month. If data is missing for both the most recent month and the preceding month, no forecast is provided.

  • The value below each forecast is the confidence interval (lower–upper). The actual value is likely to fall within this range, and a wider range indicates greater uncertainty in the forecast.

  • Trend: Calculated as the rate of change in the next month's forecast relative to the most recent month; displayed as "—" when there is no forecast value.

    • Declining: below −5%

    • Steady: −5% to +5%

    • Rising: above +5%

  • Forecast Explanation: Accessible by clicking the "Forecast Explanation" button next to each keyword. It automatically generates a trend interpretation and forecast rationale by synthesizing past search volume, forecast search volume, and trend.
