This guide explains how to integrate ListeningMind’s MCP Server with Claude using the platform’s custom connector feature.
To use the custom connector, you must have a paid Claude plan (Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise). The account performing the connection must have Owner permissions.
In Claude, go to Account → Admin Settings.
Note: The Admin Settings menu is different from Personal Settings.
Select Connectors from the left-hand menu.
Click Add Custom Connector.
Field | Description |
|---|---|
Name | Enter a name that clearly identifies the ListeningMind data source (e.g., ListeningMind). |
Remote MCP Server URL |
To connect the custom connector you just added:
In the left-hand menu, go to Personal Settings.
Open the Connectors tab again.
Click Connect next to the newly added custom connector.
You’ll be redirected to the ListeningMind login page.
Log in using a ListeningMind account with an active paid plan.
Once successfully connected, you’ll see the MCP connector appear under the “Connectors” option in the new chat window when clicking the “+” button.
Tip
AI tools sometimes don’t automatically recognize whether they should use the MCP server or perform a web search. To ensure correct operation, include explicit instructions in your prompt, such as:
“Use the ListeningMind MCP Server to retrieve search intent clustering data about vegan protein drinks.”
