Learn about how ListeningMind collects and analyzes search volume data.

ListeningMind currently holds approximately 183.39 million keywords (as of August 2024). This refers to keywords for which search result pages, search volumes, and related information have been collected and analyzed.

ListeningMind provides aggregated and analyzed search volume data from Google and Naver over a two-year period.

  • Monthly Average Search Volume: The average of monthly search volumes over the past 3 months.

  • Annual Total Search Volume: The sum of monthly search volumes over the past 12 months.

  • Monthly Search Volume:

    • KR (Korea): Up to 36 months of monthly data available

    • JP (Japan): Up to 48 months of monthly data available(Viewable in downloaded data files)

On-screen results display combined total search volume (Google + Naver),but downloaded files include separate data for each source.

  • Growth Rate: Change rate comparing the most recent month to the same month three months earlier(e.g., comparing April to January).

  • How to Check Search Volume Trends by Finder

    • Intent Finder:View search volume trends over the past 12 months through intuitive graphs.

    • Path Finder / Cluster Finder:Use the Monthly Average Search Volume filter to find keywords whose average monthly volume has increased or decreased compared to the past 3 months.

  • Supported Countries

    • US (United States): Provides Google search volume data only.

    • KR (Korea): Combines Google and Naver monthly search volume data.

    • JP (Japan): Provides Google search volume data only.

What does it mean when search volume is 0 or not available?

When search volume shows 0, it means the engine (e.g., Google) provided zero data—usually due to extremely low activity or unused keywords.If shown as “–” or blank, data wasn’t collected or shared yet.Still, review such keywords—they may be new, niche, or high-conversion opportunities.

Data update

Monthly search volume data is updated between the 10th and 15th of each month, reflecting data from the previous month.For example, search volume for March becomes available in mid-April.Once updated, the following metrics are refreshed based on the latest month:

  • Monthly search volume graph

  • 3-month average search volume

  • 12-month total search volume
